Ooh la la Paris! Pt.2
My last day in Paris was nothing short of unforgettable. I managed to see all of the top sights in just one day, and it was truly a whirlwind experience. My first stop was at the Musée Du Louvre, where I was able to witness some of the world's most famous art pieces. The Winged Victory of Samothrace, the Sleeping Hermaphrodite, and the Mona Lisa were all there, and it was breathtaking to see them up close. Despite the long line to see the Mona Lisa, I was determined to catch a glimpse of this iconic painting. I also witnessed other must-see paintings such as Liberty Leading the People, The Clubfoot, The Coronation of Napoleon, and The Death of Marat. The Louvre was a true treasure trove of art, and I could have easily spent an entire day there.
Later, I made my way to La Maison Rose, which is located in the charming neighborhood of Montmartre. The view of Paris from the outdoor terrace was breathtaking and felt like a dream. The pink building was adorned with lush greenery and flowers, making it one of the most picturesque spots in Paris. I took my time savoring the view and taking in the beauty of the city.
Following that, I stopped at Café de Flore, a timeless symbol of Paris's vibrant café culture. The café has been serving up delicious food and drinks since the 1880s, and it's easy to see why it's such a beloved spot. The ambiance was warm and cozy, and the hot chocolate was world-famous for a reason. I savored every sip of the rich, velvety drink, knowing that I was experiencing something truly special.
Next, I decided to visit the locations from the Netflix show Emily in Paris. I was curious to see what it would be like to see these places in person, and I was not disappointed. Emily's apartment was just as charming as it looked on screen as well as Chef Gabriel's restaurant and Emily's workplace. I could easily see why the show had become so popular, as it truly captured the magic and allure of Paris.
For my final night in Paris, I decided to sit on the Seine with two close friends and witness the Eiffel Tower sparkle. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I felt so fortunate to be there. As we watched, three proposals took place, and each time the crowd erupted into cheers and applause. It was a magical moment, and I was filled with awe and wonder. Although my trip to Paris has ended, I know that this city will always hold a special place in my heart. I can't wait to come back and explore more of France's beauty. Stay tuned for more updates!
