An Arc, a Palace & a Cabaret Show

Have you ever had a day filled with adventure that left you breathless? I had the pleasure of touring with @EFUltimateBreak and experienced just that. Our day was filled with historical and cultural wonders, starting with the grand and intricately carved Arc de Triomphe in Paris. From there, we explored the breathtaking Palace of Versailles with its magnificent gardens. The day concluded with a night at a cabaret show. It was an unforgettable day that left me feeling inspired and fulfilled.

Starting off at the Arc de Triomphe, it is a beautiful and impressive monument that celebrates France's history. It is designed to honor the soldiers who fought in the Napoleonic Wars. The monument is adorned with intricate carvings that depict victories and heroes, and there is also a perpetual flame to remember the soldiers who lost their lives. Overall, the Arc de Triomphe is a remarkable symbol of France's strength and pride.

After admiring the stunning Arc de Triomphe, we headed to the Palace of Versailles. Before we toured the palace, we had some free time to explore the exquisite Jardin du Château de Versailles. The garden was like something out of a movie, beautifully maintained and awe-inspiring. My friends and I made the most of our time by taking photos of each other and indulging in our royal fantasies. When our garden exploration was over, we reunited with the group for our guided tour of the palace.

As soon as we entered the Palace of Versailles, we were surrounded by a lavish display of history and art on the walls. Renovated by Louis XIV in the 17th century, this grand palace is home to extravagant fountains and halls decorated with chandeliers and artwork. The Hall of Mirrors, in particular, was breathtaking and my favorite place in the palace. Before leaving, I couldn't resist visiting the Ladurée shop for a few macarons to enjoy on our way back to Paris.

Once we finished our bus ride back to Paris, I decided to take a quick nap on the way. Afterward, we had the opportunity to attend an optional cabaret show called Paradis Latin, which was conveniently located near the renowned Moulin Rouge. Appetizers and entrees were served, along with wine at each table before the show began. During the show, there was a surprising amount of nudity that caught some of us off guard. The overall show was a spectacular display of art, with singing, dancing, and laughter that the audience thoroughly enjoyed.

After enjoying the performance, some of the other girls and I decided to continue our night by exploring the vibrant nightlife scene. We visited some of the most highly-regarded venues in the area, including L'Important and La Rêverie, before retiring to our hotel for some sleep. Overall, day 2 was jam-packed with activities and unforgettable memories. I would love to relive it all again. Stay tuned for more of my French adventures! Happy adventuring!
