Ooh la la Paris! Pt.1

It has been a full two weeks since I returned from my incredible trip to France, but my head is still reeling with the amazing experiences I had in Paris. I had the pleasure of traveling with EF Ultimate Break, and I must say, it was an unforgettable journey. Our tour group, which was small and comprised of only 14 friendly individuals, was led by an outstanding tour guide named Magda. She took us to some of the most iconic and must-see areas in Paris, such as the Moulin Rouge and the 18th arrondissement, before arriving at our welcome dinner restaurant, Le Relais Gascon.

Le Relais Gascon was the epitome of sophistication. It was nestled in a corner, offering both indoor and outdoor seating options. We had already made our menu selections, and I chose the shrimp and avocado appetizer dish, which was presented beautifully with an amazing mayo sauce. The entree dish, salmon, was equally delightful and was a hit with everyone in the group. But the dessert, oh my goodness, was simply divine! It was a rich chocolate cake with chocolate swirls, sitting in a bed of white cream. Each bite was pure heaven, and we all sat in silence as we savored the deliciousness on our taste buds.

Following dinner, Magda led us on the metro to the Eiffel Tower, where we had a scheduled boat tour on the Seine River. Looking up and seeing the Eiffel Tower looming above us was breathtaking, and I was immediately struck by a deep sense of awe and wonder. The boat tour was phenomenal, and we had the opportunity to see the Seine River in all its glory. As the tour was winding down, the Eiffel Tower lit up and sparkled at 11 pm, and we all ran up to the top deck of the boat to catch a glimpse of the stunning display. The sparkling lasted for five whole minutes, and there were thousands of people gathered along the Seine and on the boat to witness this nightly occurrence. It was truly a magical experience, and I have never felt as happy as I did in that moment.

I cannot wait to tell all of you about the rest of my Paris adventure, stay tuned to read more about the overall trip to France. Happy travels to all!
